Predator Designs is a Vancouver Canada based company with a clear focus on designing and creating performance watersports and skateboarding helmets. Our design philosophy is to create the safest, most comfortable helmet with clean, simple and aesthetically pleasing styling lines. Owner and designer Matt Kelly mixes his background in competitive white water slalom kayaking, his youthful passion for skateboarding , and feedback from both recreational and pro athletes to maintain Predator’s focus on creating helmets of superior design and quality.
Predator Designs was the first company to see the potential in longboarding and downhill racing by providing skaters the first ever production made downhill skateboard helmet. In addition, the DH6 is also the first helmet designed for downhill skateboarding that is certified for skateboard use with a CE EN 1078 and CPSC certification. Predator spent over a year proto-typing the DH6, listening to feedback from riders and getting all the details right. Three years later, the DH6 is trusted by more professional and amateur racers than any other brand.
